President Obama sent Russia a very clear and frim message about its treatment of the LGBT community. Billie Jean King a 39-time Grand Slam title winner (single, doubles, and mixed), a recipient of the Presidential Medal of Freedom, and equality for women in sports advocate and openly gay hockey player Caitlin Cahow will be representing the United States in the opening and closing ceremonies (seperately) . Its a positive sign to see openly gay representation in the delegation said Micheal Cole-Schwartz, spokesman for the Human Rights Campaign. This is the first time since 2000 that the U.S. will not send a president, former president, first lady or vice president to the Games. What are your thoughts on this bold move by President Obama?
