Food and wine just released their top places to grab food from street vendors; the list was quite impressive and diverse. The author of the list in my opinion really covered a broad band of palettes and showcased mainstream and underground delicacies. TheeBlackSocialite top picks:
2.) Austin, Tx - Beside SXSW, the street vendor scene is booming in AUS. Try Lucky J's fried-chicken-and-waffle tacos (Wrapped in a waffle shell) and Kimchi fries on for size
3.) Bangkok, Thailand - The Creme-de-la Creme of street foods, makeshift stands offer pork skewered on sugar canes; fragrant fish curries, sweet bananas deep fried in rice flour batter and more.
4.) Paris, France - The land of cheese, wine and crepe filled with ham & Guyere cheese. Paris is filled with Crepe stands all offering different and unique fillings for this french delicacy.
5.) San Juan, Puerto Rico - Fried plantains paired with a savory sandwich known as tipco tripleta ( this sandwhich has Beef, Chicken and Ham all in one) is just one of the many food sensations you'll find in this US territory.
I understand that "Street food" can be intimidating and untrustworthy, but the experience is one you will never forget. So get over your fear, and try some of these hot spots. Find the full list of street food must haves HERE.
