Every year Forbes magazine releases their '30 under 30' list. The list recognizes those individuals who are up and coming in their filed, or have gained respect by being relentless and raising the bar. This year's list is quite impressive, especially due to the fact that several African-Americans have been listed. Being named is definitely something to grin about. See anyone you know? ![]() Micheal B. Jordan, 26 The 'Fruitvale Station" star and 2pac hopeful landed on the list. With his superior acting skills, fashion sense and stellar smile--are you surprised? ![]() Ryan Coogler, 27 The Director-Writer newcomer won top prizes at the Sundance Film Festival this past year. Coogler wrote "Fruitvale Station" and is in the process of producing more award wining work. ![]() Todrick Hall, 27 Although he was booted off of American Idol back in 2010, Mr. Hall did not let that halt his ambition for greatness. Todrick took to youtube making short musical numbers. ![]() Issa Rae, 28 Most know for her web series "The Mis-Adventures of an Awkward Black Girl" has some work this hit writer Shonda Rhimes, HBO and a book on the way. ![]() Quvenzhané Wallis, 10 The youngest "30 under 30" belongs to this "Beast of the Southern Wild" child star. Jay-Z and Will Smith are remaking "Annie" for Broadway and have reportedly chosen this cutie for the starring role. Thank you Forbes magazine for recognizing these hardworking individuals.
